1. Promo duration is from Oct. 1-31,2024 as approved by DTI FTEB
2. This promo is open to all NEW Maya users and Existing Maya Users where each are defined as:
   1. New Maya users- those who created & registered their account from Oct.1-31, 2024
   2. Existing Maya users- those who have created & registered their account prior to  Oct.1, 2024.
      Example: User creates & registers their Maya account on Oct. 1, 2024. They are only considered as a NEW Maya User until Oct. 31, 2024. They will be considered as an existing user beyond Oct. 31, 2024.

3. Qualified New Maya users who are Maya Savings accountholders can enjoy a base interest rate of 3.5% p.a. on balances up to P5M, and increase their interest rate further based on the requirement per tier below:

If a Maya Savings accountholder who just opened a Savings account did not complete any of the transactions above on the Maya Wallet, he/she will still be enjoying a 3.5% interest rate p.a. on his/her Maya Savings account.

4. Qualified Existing Maya users who are Maya Savings accountholders can enjoy a base interest rate of 3.5% a. on balances up to P5M, and increase their interest rate further based on the requirement per tier below:

If a Maya Savings accountholder who just opened a Savings account did not complete any of the transactions above on the Maya Wallet, he/she will still be enjoying a 3.5% interest rate p.a. on his/her Maya Savings account

1. In case of (including but not limited to) user-triggered mobile number change, the total amount of qualified accumulated transactions will be reset to zero (Php 0) and the user has to transact at least Php 250 to Php35,250 with fund source Maya Wallet, and Php 3,000 with fund source from Maya Credit, worth of qualified transactions again to qualify for the promo.
2. Maya Credit transactions made via QR, Pay with Maya, or at the Maya Shop are the only qualified transactions considered for the +1% Php 3,000 spend via Maya Credit.
3. Accountholder will see on the Savings dashboard their qualification duration for bonus interest rate they are qualified for Maya Savings on the same day of their successful transaction.
4. An accountholder who qualified within a certain month, will get their bonus interest rate until the last day of the same qualifying month as illustrated below:

5. Accountholder will be able to see their qualification duration for the bonus interest rate on the Savings dashboard or on the Missions screen
   
   Note: Make sure your app is updated to the latest version so you can track your boosted interest. You can check your Missions anytime to see your progress. For some users, you won't immediately see your Savings interest screen but your bonus interest will still be credited to your account every day after making a qualified transaction.
6. Your base interest rate and bonus interest rate will be reflected on your transaction history the next day as follows:
   
   
   Note: Users who have an active boost until last day of the month, will receive their final boosted interest on the first day of the following month.

9. QR transactions made at the following merchants are excluded from the promo:
   1. Maya Business App (formerly called PayMaya Negosyo) merchants
   2. “Donation” category merchants
   3. “Gambling” category merchants
10. Maya users with merchant accounts and those under Maya Negosyo and Maya Business Manager (formerly PayMaya Business Manager or PBM) are disqualified from participating in this promo.
11. Maya payments (Maya number, Maya QR or Maya card) made to Maya Negosyo and Maya Business Manager merchants or sub-merchants are not qualified for the promo.
12. Maya card (Visa or Mastercard) payments made to the following merchant categories will be excluded from the promo:
    1. Financial institutions – 6051
    2. Schools – 8220
    3. Gambling – 7995
    4. Donations/Foundations - 8651, 8661, 8669, 8398
    5. Billers – 4900
13. Payments made to or purchases of cash equivalent instruments, financial institutions, financial assets, insurances, ATM withdrawals, gambling/gaming chips, and other quasi cash transactions are also not qualified for the promo.
14. Maya payments (Maya number, Maya QR or Maya card) or transactions made to merchants within the crypto space are not qualified for the (e.g PDAX cash-in, other VASPs to be enabled where Maya payments are accepted, etc.)
15. Videos and photos of participants may be used only for promotional ads related to this
16. Only Consumer accounts are qualified for this Maya users with Maya merchant accounts and Maya Center agents are disqualified from participating in this promo.
17. Maya users with duplicate accounts or who are blacklisted cannot participate in this Maya reserves the right to cancel or withdraw the prize or benefit if proven to be a duplicate account or participant is blacklisted.
18. In case of disputes regarding accountholder's eligibility for the promo, coverage of dates, fulfillment, Maya's decision shall prevail, in concurrence with DTI.
19. The customer must notify Maya for any complaints regarding the promo. The decision of Maya on the complaint with concurrence of DTI-FTEB shall be considered final. 20. Qualified users with uncredited interest rate and/or corresponding interest amount can expect crediting of missing interest rate and/or interest amount at least 14 to 30 days after the promo period ends.
